About SOLID LIFE

The Solid Life project supports the European market development of Solidia Technologies^®

The LIFE programme is the EU's funding instrument for the environment and climate action. The general objective of LIFE is to contribute to the implementation, updating and development of EU environmental and climate policy and legislation by co-financing projects with European added value.

In this framework, an overall budget of 3.8M€ was defined and accepted to be funded at 60 by EU. It will enable to produce some cement at different scales: laboratory, to pilot and industrial scales. This cement will then be used for concrete pilot and semi-industrial applications at precasters sites in order to ensure the interest of the market and prove the durability of the concept.

These testings will also help to demonstrate the technical and economical viability of the Solidia Technologies^® solution.
